There are workarounds for most situations but it would be great to be able to put more detail into things.
I would have also liked to completely change item types for different 3D models so that - for example - a rescued chicken leaves a feather that works like a dagger granting its user the ability to fly and stun their target by tickling it. The ability to talk as that npc-character through chat with overhead text areas showing what they say as well as setting up some dialogue they can say when unonccupied would be cool too. The ability to create your very own characters and have their avatar pics reflect their inworld appereance as well as creating ghosts would be great too. In DoS2 you will have to scout out your enemies, if you know they are there, and discover their Armor and plan accordingly. I'm not expecting movement scripts, triggers or other deeper stuff but to have ALL assets, spells and statuses available would be a good start. Physical and Magical armor is a new mechanic introduced in Divinity: Original Sin 2 to add more depth to combat by introducing a new obstacle to plan around, where as in DoS1 it was easier to bombard the enemy with damage without a second thought.
I really hope they flesh this thing out a bit more. However the shapeshift forms DO show the equipment you put on them. It is kinda strange that there are no basic nude characters you can dress through armor.
